The Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, has expressed his deep gratitude to His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the historic signing of the North West Development Commission Bill, describing it as “a decisive step towards removing the Northwest of the edge of the abyss.

Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kaduna State said the Governor wish to express his deep gratitude to our beloved President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for signing the North West Development Act. This is without a doubt the most significant news I have received in decades. “It clearly demonstrates President Tinubu’s deep concern for the North West and his commitment to addressing its multifaceted development and security challenges.” Governor Sani said.
The Governor also commended President Bola Tinubu for his “unusual support to the governments of the northern states to effectively address their numerous challenges and put the region on the path of sustainable growth and development.”
Furthermore, Governor Uba Sani urged the leaders and people of the North West to consider the signing of the North West Development Commission bill as a call to action.
“We must unite and develop a Marshall Plan for the development of the Northwest. Our plan must be people-oriented and inclusive. The people who will have the responsibility of leading the Northwest Development Commission must be men and women of transparent honesty, knowledgeable, creative and innovative. “There should be no room for incompetence and lethargy.” Governor Sani said.
The North West Development Commission was created to address the challenges faced by the seven states of the North West geopolitical zone, with the aim of bringing the Federal Government closer to the people of all the North West states.
