Techparley Africa, a media and digital literacy company, has unveiled DRIVE100, a media accelerator programme designed to spotlight 100 promising tech startups across Africa with free, high-impact publicity.
The organisation, said this in a statement signed by the product manager, Aderonke Ogunleti on Tuesday in Abuja.
Ogunleti said that the initiative was aimed at giving visibility to innovative startups whose solutions remain unnoticed despite the growing investment in Africa’s technology ecosystem.
According to her, African tech startups raised 1.42 billion dollars across 243 deals in the first half of 2025, as reported by TechCabal.
“Many ventures still struggled to attract investors, partners and customers due to limited visibility.
“DRIVE100 aims to bridge this gap by providing a platform for deserving founders to share their stories, showcase their impact and connect with key stakeholders,” it said.
Ogunleti, however, said that the programme was designed to help startups scale through storytelling.
“Through DRIVE100, we want to do more than just report and share stories.
“Our ambition is to help startups scale by pushing their stories before investors, partners and customers who can accelerate their growth,” Ogunleti said.
Ogunleti said that the initiative would feature curated interviews and detailed editorial profiles of selected startups, highlighting their journeys, challenges, solutions and impact across different markets.
She said that DRIVE100 was open to tech-enabled startups across Africa, irrespective of size or sector adding that applications were already open and would close on Oct. 15, 2025.
She also explained that a panel of experts would carefully review submissions to identify the most innovative and impactful ventures.
“The programme is free of charge. There is no cost to participate, because we believe that powerful storytelling and meaningful visibility should never be limited by budget.
“We encourage all eligible startups to apply and share their stories with the world,” she said.
Ogunleti added that the project was also targeted at inspiring a new generation of entrepreneurs, investors and innovators while contributing to Africa’s economic growth.
She urged interested applicants to visit www.techparley.com/drive100 or send an email to editor@techparley.com for application guidelines and eligibility criteria.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Techparley Africa is dedicated to showcasing the stories of African startups and entrepreneurs while promoting innovation and digital literacy.
Through DRIVE100 and other initiatives, the organisation aims to support entrepreneurship and drive economic growth across the continent.
