As the 2026 council poll in the Federal Capital Territory is under way and political atmosphere is getting ticker, one of the APC aspirants for the Chairmanship of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Dr. Gboyega Adefokun on Saturday met with the Zone A Nyanyan, karu, orozo and karshi coordinators, ward women executive members to register his readiness for the AMAC’s number one job and share his vision for the council and soliciting for their support.

During the meeting, Dr. Gboyega shared his “Succour Agenda,” which focuses on improving education, promoting women’s inclusion, and providing basic amenities such as portable water. During the interactive section, he listened attentively to the concerns and suggestions of the coordinators and women leaders, reaffirming his commitment to empowering party members, particularly, women for inclusive governance.

Gboyega’s submission on education highlights the transformation power of education in reforming human existence, particularly in Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC.
The APC aspirant also revealed his commitment to increasing internally generated revenue (IGR) for the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) if elected. According to him, the goal is crucial for improving the council’s financial autonomy and ability to fund development projects.
