Hon. Dr. Abubakar Sadiq Sa’adu Fakai has resigned his appointment as a member of the Governing Council of the Federal College of Education (Technical), Yauri, Kebbi State.
Fakai, who conveyed his resignation in a letter and addressed to the Honourable Minister of Education through the Chairman of the Governing Council, said his decision takes immediate effect.
“I write with utmost respect to formally tender my resignation from my appointment as a Member of the Governing Council of the Federal College of Education (Technical), Yauri, Kebbi State, with immediate effect,” he stated.
Fakai expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for what he described as “the honour and privilege of being considered worthy of this noble call to national service.”
According to him, serving in the capacity afforded him the rare opportunity to contribute, albeit modestly, to the growth and advancement of the country’s educational sector.
He explained that the decision to step aside, though not taken lightly, was borne out of “personal conviction, principles, and ideology.”
While bowing out, he extended goodwill to the Governing Council, the Management, and the entire academic community of the college, praying for their continued progress and success in the discharge of their mandate.
“I respectfully request that this resignation be graciously accepted and duly recorded. Kindly accept, Sir, the assurances of my highest consideration and esteemed regards,” Fakai concluded.
