The All Progressives Congress (APC) Northeast Geopolitical Zone in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has commended the Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, AMAC, Hon. Saleh Zakari Biu, for his outstanding leadership, commitment, and sustained support toward strengthening the party at the grassroots.
In a statement issued on behalf of the zone, the leadership described Hon. Biu as a dependable party man whose dedication has continued to inspire unity and political mobilisation across the Northeast axis of the FCT. The zone noted that his efforts have played a key role in consolidating support for the administration of the Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalangu.
According to the statement, Hon. Biu has demonstrated exceptional capacity, passion, and organisational skill in rallying party faithful and community members, particularly in mobilising voters in support of Maikalangu’s re-election bid. The group expressed confidence that the growing momentum across the zone reflects the effectiveness of his engagement and outreach.
The Northeast APC FCT Zone further praised the inclusive leadership style of AMAC Chairman, Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, describing his administration as people-oriented and development-driven. The group reaffirmed its total support for his re-election, expressing optimism that continuity in leadership would translate into more dividends of democracy for residents.
The statement emphasised that the collective efforts of party leaders, stakeholders, and grassroots supporters remain crucial to achieving electoral success, adding that the unity within the zone is a strong signal of victory ahead.
Reiterating its loyalty to the APC, the zone called on members to remain steadfast, peaceful, and committed to the party’s ideals as the political process progresses.
The statement was signed by Alhaji Aminu Abubakar, Leader of the APC FCT Northeast Geopolitical Zone, who described Hon. Saleh Zakari Biu as “a bridge-builder and mobiliser whose contributions to party growth and electoral success cannot be overlooked.”
He concluded by assuring that the Northeast Zone would continue to work collectively for the advancement of the party and the success of its candidates.
