Hon. Folorunso Olusola Emmanuel, Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Bwari Area Council, has called on its members and supporters to close ranks and work together toward victory in the forthcoming local government elections scheduled for February 21, 2026.
In a press statement released to party faithful, he emphasised that politics often involves competing interests, but stressed the need for reconciliation and collective responsibility in achieving success at the polls. The party noted that while internal contests and disagreements are natural, unity and cooperation remain essential for electoral victory.
The statement highlighted the importance of love, understanding, and prayers among party members, urging them to forgive past grievances and focus on the shared goal of ensuring APC’s success in the coming elections. According to the party, the task ahead requires commitment from all stakeholders and supporters across the council.
Party leaders also acknowledged the contributions of key stakeholders within the APC family in Bwari, noting that their efforts have strengthened the party’s structure and visibility in the area. The statement reaffirmed that the party recognises and values the roles played by individuals and groups working toward its growth and stability.
Members across wards and communities were encouraged to actively participate in mobilisation efforts for the chairmanship candidate and the ten councillorship candidates contesting under the APC platform. The party described the election as a crucial opportunity to reclaim leadership at the Bwari Area Council Secretariat and advance development-focused governance.
Hon. Folorunso Olusola further called on supporters to intensify grassroots engagement, campaign peacefully, and promote issue-based discussions that reflect the aspirations of residents.
