support group founded in 2003 with the sole mandate of working for the re-election of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu then as Governor of Lagos State and for the advancement of his progressive ideology.
“BATSOF was among the pioneer grassroots organisations that mobilised, campaigned and delivered victory for Asiwaju during his return bid as Governor of Lagos State in 2003, at a time when most South-West states fell to the opposition.
“Since then, BATSOF has remained loyal, consistent and unwavering in propagating the Jagaban ideology of progressive governance, party loyalty and people-centered politics. We are not seasonal supporters. We have been with Asiwaju since 2003,” the statement noted.
The group listed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR as its Grand Patron and Amb. Alhaji Aminu Abubakar Majidadi as its National Patron.
According to the organisers, the event will mark the beginning of massive grassroots mobilisation across the 62 wards of the FCT for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
