The Management and Staff of Winning Team TV warmly congratulate the Executive Chairman of Bwari Area Council, Hon. Joshua Ishaku Musa, on successfully completing his first 100 days in office.
We also congratulate the Vice Chairman, Hon. Nasir Shehu; members of the Area Council leadership; the councillors; cabinet members; political stakeholders; traditional institutions; community leaders; civil servants; and the people of Bwari Area Council on this significant milestone.
The first 100 days of an administration provide an important opportunity to reflect on its journey, assess its priorities and renew its commitment to the responsibilities entrusted to it by the electorate.
For Hon. Joshua Ishaku Musa, the milestone represents another stage in the responsibility of providing grassroots leadership and responding to the needs and aspirations of residents across the various communities and wards of Bwari Area Council.
Grassroots leadership carries a unique responsibility because local government remains the closest level of government to many citizens. Issues involving roads, healthcare, education, sanitation, youth development, agriculture, employment opportunities, community infrastructure, and social services directly affect residents’ daily lives.
As the administration moves beyond its first 100 days, it has an opportunity to consolidate its programmes, strengthen community engagement, and continue building an administration that listens to the people.
The partnership between Chairman Joshua Ishaku Musa and Vice Chairman Hon. Nasir Shehu will also remain important as the administration progresses. Effective coordination between the political leadership, councillors, cabinet members, and the council’s professional workforce can help translate policies and programmes into practical benefits for residents.
Winning Team TV recognises that elected officials alone cannot achieve sustainable grassroots development. It requires cooperation among government, traditional leaders, community organisations, religious institutions, businesses, young people, women and residents across the Area Council.
We therefore encourage continued dialogue between the administration and the people of Bwari. Constructive engagement, transparency, accountability and regular communication can strengthen public confidence and help ensure that community concerns remain part of the development agenda.
The 100-day milestone should therefore be regarded not simply as a celebration, but as an opportunity to reflect on responsibilities, acknowledge progress and identify areas requiring greater attention in the months and years ahead.
The milestone also comes as Nigeria prepares for the next general election cycle. The Independent National Electoral Commission has scheduled the Presidential and National Assembly elections for 16 January 2027, with the Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections scheduled for 6 February 2027
The 2027 electoral season will inevitably generate significant political activity across the country, including the Federal Capital Territory. Among the presidential candidates listed by INEC is the incumbent President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, alongside candidates from other political parties.
For communities such as Bwari, the period ahead presents an opportunity for citizens and political stakeholders to engage peacefully, responsibly and constructively in the democratic process while keeping community development at the centre of public discussion.
On behalf of the Management and Staff of Winning Team TV, we once again congratulate Hon. Joshua Ishaku Musa, Hon. Nasir Shehu, the councillors, cabinet members and the entire Bwari Area Council administration on reaching 100 days in office.
We wish the Chairman and his team greater wisdom, strength, good health and capacity as they continue their service to the people.
May the administration’s remaining years in office bring meaningful development, stronger community engagement and positive outcomes for residents across Bwari Area Council.
Congratulations on 100 Days of Service.
